Tee Height Tuner
5-10 min Solo Tees (varied height), Golf Balls
Setup
Mark three tee heights: low (half ball above crown), standard (ball equator at crown), high (top third above crown).
Drill Instructions
Hit 5 balls at each tee height noting strike pattern and curvature. Pick the best height and hit 10 more balls to confirm. Adjust ball position slightly to fine-tune.
Goal
Choose a tee height that yields ≥70% center strikes and your tightest dispersion.
Make It Easier
Use impact tape or foot spray to see strike clearly.
Coach Tip
A higher tee can reduce spin if you maintain upward angle of attack—don’t hang back, just sweep up.
Make It Harder
Combine with aim bias (draw/fade windows) while maintaining center contact.
Avoid
Changing swing to fit the tee; evaluate with your normal motion.
