Ladder Lag Lines

10-20 min Solo Tees, Golf Balls
Setup
On a flat area, create a ladder with tees at 15, 25, 35, and 45 feet. Drop 5 balls at the start line.
Drill Instructions
Putt one ball to each tee, trying to stop inside 18 inches beyond the tee. Work up and down the ladder without two consecutive putts to the same tee. Repeat for three sets, recording how many finish inside the zone.
Goal
Finish 70% of putts within 18 inches of the intended tee in two consecutive sets.
Make It Easier
Use a 24-inch capture zone and only three distances.
Coach Tip
Match backstroke length to distance; let the putter swing freely without hit.
Make It Harder
Tighten the zone to 12 inches and add breaking lags.
Avoid
Leaving putts short; always roll past the target by a foot.
