Heel-Up Toe-Down

5-10 min Solo Wedge, Golf Balls
Setup
Address with the wedge slightly toe-down and heel slightly raised. Pick a 10–15 foot chip.
Drill Instructions
Make small hinge-and-turn chips letting the toe glide, reducing leading-edge grab. Land the ball a few feet on and let it release. Note softer contact and predictable rollout.
Goal
6/10 inside 3 feet with no chunks over 15 reps.
Make It Easier
Move the ball slightly forward to shallow strike.
Coach Tip
Toe-down reduces effective bounce for tight/tangly lies—great around collars.
Make It Harder
Short-side to a tight pin with 2-foot circle.
Avoid
Standing too far; you’ll heel it.
