Nine-Ball Driver Grid

Setup

Create a 30-yard fairway with cones and divide into left/center/right thirds. List the 9 windows (low/med/high × fade/straight/draw).

Drill Instructions

Hit one ball per window attempting your stock curvature and height. Log whether it finished in the fairway and which third. Repeat for two full grids.

Goal

≥6/9 in fairway on first grid and ≥7/9 on second.

Make It Easier

Use only five windows (remove extremes).

Coach Tip

Change start line with face angle and curve with face-to-path; don’t over-manipulate mid-swing.

Make It Harder

Narrow fairway to 24 yards and require specific thirds by shape.

Avoid

Aiming at the middle for every shape; adjust alignment by window.
