Bump-and-Run Ladder

10-20 min Solo Tees, Golf Balls, Alignment Stick
Setup
Place tees at 10, 15, and 20 feet from the fringe. Use a 7–9 iron.
Drill Instructions
Chip one ball to each tee, landing just onto the green and letting it run to the targets. Keep weight forward and wrists quiet. Complete four rounds, alternating clubs for different rollout patterns.
Goal
Stop 6/9 total chips within 3 feet of the tees across three rounds.
Make It Easier
Use larger 4-foot circles for the target area.
Coach Tip
Slight toe-down contact reduces spin and encourages predictable rollout.
Make It Harder
Add a 25-foot tee and tighten the circle to 2 feet.
Avoid
Decelerating with too much wrist; it kills speed control.
